Getting Help

Google Analytics is a separate product independent of AGNR’s websites. While we can give you access to the data, we can provide only limited support on actually using it.

Therefore, your first line of support when you have questions about Google Analytics should be the resources provided by Google. There is also a wide variety of training material on the Web to help you make the most of your Analytics. Here are a few resources to guide you.

Google Analytics Academy

For a full course of training videos from Google, check out Analytics Academy (analyticsacademy.withgoogle.com).

Analytics Academy also provides “Analytics Resources,” where you can explore even more ways to learn about using Analytics.

LinkedIn Learning

All UMD employees have free access to LinkedIn Learning, a training site which provides, among many other things, a course on using Google Analytics. Once you have logged in through the University of Maryland portal, watch the Google Analytics Essential training or any of the more advanced trainings if you're getting to be a pro!

Google Analytics Help Center

From anywhere within Google Analytics, click on question mark icon near your user icon or profile image.

You will be provided with a searchable list of popular help resources and links to Google's help forum and knowledge base.

You can also access the Google Analytics Help Center at https://support.google.com/analytics/
