Windows Tip: Virtual Desktops - Treatment for Lackofbigscreenitis?

Many of you like me are probably very used to having at least two screens. Being at home, you're probably stuck with just a single screen or maybe even just your laptop screen. Windows 10 has a feature that can give you a bit of relief for Lackofbigscreenitis.

Virtual desktops are way that you can quickly swap between new desktops. You can start using it by pressing Win+Tab or swiping up from your touchpad with 3 fingers. You can then move your application windows to new desktops. This can be handy to for example have an email desktop,  a calendar desktop, a Word desktop, etc. This is one of those, you've got to try and see what works for you things.

Another thing that's handy about using virtual desktops is not accidentally expose private things via Zoom/WebEx screen sharing. Create a new desktop, with Zoom and the app you want to share on it, and share your screen without accidentally exposing your Inbox.

To swipe between desktops you can swipe left and right with 3 fingers or Ctrl+Win+Left/Right Arrows. It's certainly not perfect, but it helps a quite a bit.

Here's a demo video that shows how it works.
